Wamarra was engaged to deliver the site compound civil works on behalf of Laing O’Rourke as part of the Manchester Road Level Crossing Removal for South East Program Alliance.
The project features included the construction of hardstands and haul roads (2,800m2), and the installation of temporary drainage (60m), permanent fencing (645m), traffic management signage, a temporary sewer and environmental controls.
During earthworks, rectification works of poor subgrade and wet conditions were undertaken.
Wamarra provided all management, trades, plant and materials to successfully complete the construction of the works safely and on schedule.
