Our very own Kenny Morgan was presented the Symal HSEQ Excellence Award on behalf of Symal Infrastructure and Structures Mooroolbark Project.

Leading by example, Kenny recognised the need to support a separate work group and stepped in. The work group was undertaking telehandler operations and it was observed that the suspended load was obstructing the operator’s view as materials were being transferred across a pedestrian route.

Kenny identified the potential risks and stopped pedestrians in the area, spotted the telehandler’s movements, and guided the operator through the area and to his destination.  Kenny assisted the safe telehandler operations and reduced the risk to pedestrians by proactively supporting his teammates and demonstrating the Symal and Wamarra values.
