“I heard about Wamarra through my footy club. The club fosters reconciliation by building bridges between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal communities – Managing Director Hayden Heta was my senior coach and, at the time, Wamarra was up and running. ” Says Hotak.

Working on the North East Link project since starting with the company in December, Hotak works alongside the project engineer and project lead, exposed to a multitude of tasks such as safety, procurement, and quality assurance and control.

“I want to grow my career with Wamarra because I see the good work they’re doing in construction and for their community. I’m invested in the direction they’re headed and I’m humbled to be recognised as someone they chose to grow with. It’s a privilege.” Says Hotak.
