Meet one of the first employees of Wamarra, labourer and Gunditjmara man Joe Bell.

Joe has played a pivotal role in our journey, working on our most significant projects, including countless Level Crossing Removals, Major Roads, and Department of Justice projects. Not only has he grown in his ability as a labourer, but he’s also gained complementary skills and developed new skills on the job, including spending a considerable amount of time in the NDD truck.

We’re incredibly proud of the diverse aboriginal heritage of our team and to produce aboriginal role models like Joe. As a pillar employee from the beginning, Joe’s work ethic has helped shape the positive reputation Wamarra has today.
